What is BAC water used for?
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing benzyl alcohol as a preservative. Labs use it as a diluent to reconstitute lyophilised peptides.
How should BAC water be stored?
Store unopened vials at room temperature away from direct light. Once the stopper has been punctured, keep the vial refrigerated and follow the guidance on the label.
